Connor serves as a MacDonald Scholar for IU Corps. In the summer of 2017, he studied abroad in Greece where he researched the various impacts of the country's financial crisis on the public, private, and nonprofit sectors of Athens. During his time abroad, he met with representatives from a local municipality that works to foster coordination and communication between the community’s volunteer base and local nonprofit and government agencies. Upon returning from Greece, Connor served as a student coordinator with the Community Kitchen’s Backpack Buddies Program throughout his sophomore year, and then joined the IU Corps team shortly after the program launched in 2018. Through IU Corps, Connor uses his skills in networking and communication to enhance relationships between IU students and community partners.
Connor will graduate in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs in Human Resource Management, with a double minor in Nonprofit Management and Leadership and Healthcare Management and Policy.
