Found in the four corners of campus, and now right in your inbox, the iconic red clock towers tell a story greater than time. Freshmen and seniors alike, have relied on the clock towers as classic landmarks. Yet even further, the red clock towers have all served as a meeting place to encourage community engagement and free speech. Our newsletter brings community engagement right to you! Read, listen, sing, or simply have a conversation. Visit patients who are in nursing homes that are open 24/7. You make your own schedule and it is a very rewarding experience.

ONE-TIME OPPORTUNITY, off-campus & expiring soon
City of Bloomington: Banneker Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Volunteers assist with event setup, supervision of activity stations, and teardown.
Event date: Oct. 18, 5-8 p.m.

Stone Belt Logo
INTERNSHIP, off-campus
Stone Belt: photography/videography internship
Work directly with communications manager to develop and maintain promo and informational print and online material to expand Stone Belt’s reach and advocacy efforts.

Greening Cream and Crimson logo
IUB Athletics Greening Cream and Crimson: tailgate ambassadors and zero waste educators
Help IU Athletics Go Green! Engage and encourage fans outside (pre-game) of Memorial Stadium to RECYCLE! All Greening Cream & Crimson volunteers receive a ticket to the game, t-shirt, and food.
Event dates: Nov. 2 and Nov. 23, noon.

Salvation Army: donation sorting and inventory inspection
Save thousands of pounds of material from ending up in our landfill by selling what is good to the public at low prices. Assist Salvation Army staff to receive, sort, hang, and barb donated items and make the store an attractive destination for customers.
