Faculty & Staff

Educating the next generation of civic leaders

If you are an IU faculty or staff member who helps connect students with local or global community engagement opportunities, you’re a part of IU Corps.

IU Corps can also serve as a starting point of contact for faculty or staff who want to learn more about providing volunteer- or service-focused classes, internships, research, and other experiences for IU students.

If you’re already working with a community organization, continue communicating with your usual point of contact.

All types of service- and volunteer-focused community engagement projects involving IU students are united under the IU Corps name.

To our campus partners

IU Corps is a powerful platform through which to engage more students earlier and throughout their academic careers.

The service- and volunteer-related courses, internships, research, and opportunities that are considered IU Corps experiences empower students to become involved in the issues they care about. As they take part in this work, students learn from faculty, staff, and community professionals while increasing the likelihood that they’ll go on to be engaged, socially responsible citizens after graduation.

Please email iucorps@indiana.edu if you’d like to create a new opportunity for students to get involved.
